Veteran's Day Assembly Information

Image
Hello,  McMillan Community! Tomorrow, Tuesday November 11th, we will be celebrating and honoring the Veterans' of the United States Armed Forces and would love to honor any veterans that are part of your family! Our assembly begins at 9:30 am in the McMillan Elementary multi-purpose room (Cafeteria, Gym, Auditorium).  All students attend and participate in the program.  It is usually an hour long and features essays written and read by students at McMillan, songs from each grade level, and a slideshow presentation. While only families escorting Veterans are invited to attend (or if your student has been selected to read their essay), ALL students are encouraged to wear Red, White, and/or Blue to help create a patriotic atmosphere.  We truly appreciate, respect, and honor the brave men and women who have served to preserve our freedom as Americans.   Happy Veteran's Day!

November: Celebrating Native American Heritage Month at McMillan Elementary
