Some Beginning of the Year FAQs 1. Do I HAVE to be a PTA Member or attend meetings if I am a member? No! We absolutely appreciate when everyone can join the PTA formally as it does automatically enable us to email you with important information as well as brings in approximately $4 per membership to help us fund our programs. If you are not sure that you want to pay the $10 membership fee, simply send in your yellow paper from the PTA Packing (due on September 1st) and include your email address. We will happily put you on an email list! If you are not able to attend meetings, don't worry! Meetings are NOT mandatory and the minutes from the meetings are sent out each month for members to review. 2. Does McMillan have a Spirit Store for T-shirts and other swag? Not anymore. Our principal, Dr. Dolata, generously purchases a shirt for every McMillan student once a year for them to wear on Fridays! ...
